It's great to hear from/about you Amy. I was planning on poking fun at the kid from Arden Mb who ran the 1500m race in jeans against me. Perhaps I should re-consider.Garethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12660143141246155078noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7254514244383668239.post-45197071004814038462007-05-06T00:21:00.000-06:002007-05-06T00:21:00.000-06:00Gareth! This is so funny, I was googling Vanessa Gillis because I was guiltily looking for her name on some bridal registry somewhere when your blog came up as a hit for "Vanessa Gillis." Way back in March 2006 you made a comment about Vanessa Gillis being taken from you by Taras Turko on the playground in grade 2 - well I almost pissed my pants laughing and then it took me a sec to realize what the heck I was reading and who was writing it. Then I started to chuckle even more, very funny blog! I have to admit I did see the Gareth does Jay Leno on UTube because your mom happened to see my mom somewhere and tell her about it, but I had no idea that there was a blog out there with your name on it! Anyway you gave me a laugh today and I'm glad to hear life is good for you, and your wife. Your dad happened to be the Dr. for my son after he was born last February and he told me that his children have not given him any grandchildren yet, and he seemed pretty disgusted about it! Now you better get on that - even TARAS TURKO is going to be a dad in September. ha ha hope all is well!
Amy Buchanan
(used to be Lisowski)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7254514244383668239.post-87429621385510714532007-04-17T03:16:00.000-06:002007-04-17T03:16:00.000-06:00The basic strategy of giving as much choice to the...The basic strategy of giving as much choice to the consumer as possible dates back to the first guy digging around for more than one color of berry to slop on a cave wall. Me generation market research? Nice try. All the same, tech has moved the world one step away from commmunism and one hop closer to anarchy. Not a bad deal, even if it results in running with 15 rich German middle-aged men, or riding a scooter with a brand-new ipod falling out of your pocket.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7254514244383668239.post-65645684667413731932007-04-12T16:58:00.000-06:002007-04-12T16:58:00.000-06:00Yeah, tech is stupid. Today, as I was running with 15 rich German middle-aged men, I had 3 (three) different pieces of tech on me: Hearth Rate Monitor, Ipod, and USB stick in jacket pocket. Oh, and my bike back at the track had a speed/odometer as well. Warning to my brother: I'll be loading 3:29:59 of music (probably Cannibal Corpse) onto my Ipod Shuffle (it's just so much lighter than a bulky Ipod Mini).Warren du Plooyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07831030690122273294noreply@blogger.com
